Gori Tere Pyar Mein is a Bollywood film directed by Vipin Parashar and produced by Pahlaj Nihalani. Its music is composed by Anu Malik. It stars Ajay Devgn, Jyothika and Saurabh Shukla in lead roles. The film revolves around a wrestler, Suraj Prakash Singh who captures the heart of a gold medalist, Gauri Prakash Singh. She is the pride of her family and does not care for him at first because he is not well-educated or wealthy but eventually she starts loving him for his simplicity and honesty even though it goes against her family's wishes. Their love story is shown. Suraj Prakash Singh (Ajay Devgn) is a wrestler who has an accident which makes him paralyzed. Before the accident, he had promised his father (Kulbhushan Kharbanda) to win the national championship with his efforts and bring home that gold medal for his ageing father. Gauri Prakash Singh (Jyothika) is the daughter of an influential politician in Delhi who is against Suraj's becoming a wrestler because he comes from a poor family. It's highest opening day collections was 1.35 crores at Mumbai (at Kolkata Boxoffice it was 1.34 crores).
